Travel X-Ray Technologist - $2,333 per week

About the role

HCS 247 is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina, starting July 27, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, CT, MRI, and other modalities under the supervision of a physician.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Prepare patients for examinations and position them appropriately for imaging.
• Operate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and radiation safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• No new graduates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Skills

• Proficient in operating radiographic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
