Job Summary

X-ray Technologist position in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves performing fluoroscopy and diagnostic X-ray procedures on inpatients and emergency department patients, as well as portable X-rays on patient floors. The technologist may also be responsible for C-Arm procedures in the operating room within a Level I trauma setting, supporting both the emergency department and diagnostic departments.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting with trauma experience
  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Nebraska state license
  • Ability to float between Emergency Department and Diagnostic Department
  • Proficient in trauma, imaging, portable X-Rays, fluoroscopy (preferred), and C-Arm procedures
  • Trauma Level I experience and OR experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in fluoroscopy and C-Arm procedures

Additional Information

  • The assignment includes 12 hours of non-billable orientation
  • The organization utilizes EPIC electronic charting system, McKesson PACS, and Centricity RIS
  • Dress code is red uniforms or hospital scrubs for surgery
  • Training begins with New Employee Orientation (NEO) and departmental on-the-job training
  • Candidates should be self-starters with good team skills and adaptability to changing situations
  • Float rotation may be required between units/departments
