Travel X-ray Technologist - $2,295 per week

Job Summary

X-ray Technologist role available in a Level 3 Trauma Center located outside of Kenosha, Wisconsin. This position involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, and fluoroscopy, with experience on C-arm and portable imaging preferred. The assignment offers a chance for first-time travelers with a strong background in radiologic technology to gain valuable experience in a well-equipped facility.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Certification in BLS, ARRT
• Wisconsin license (or eligibility to obtain)
• 2 years of radiology experience
• Located in the United States, Wisconsin

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PACS (McKesson)
• Portable imaging
• Fluoroscopy (limited)
• Support across hospital units including OR and ED

Support on the Unit

• Transport services available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• RT coverage 24/7
• Hospitalist team available 24/7

Charting System/Equipment

• EMR system EPIC
• Pyxis medication dispensing
• Canon portable equipment
• GE fluoroscopy
• OEC C-arms
• Dell diagnostic rooms with Canon plates

Float Rotation

• Float rotation may be required to various hospital departments including OR and ED

Orientation

2-3 days based on the candidate's comfort level

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
