The candidate will be responsible for conducting X-ray examinations and operating radiographic equipment independently. This role requires expertise in radiation safety protocols and demonstrates proficiency in the operation of various radiographic equipment. Shift Information Shift Timing: Overnight, from 2130 to 0730 Average Call: 3 days per month No guarantee of hours or requested time off for the first 13 weeks of the contract Key Responsibilities Perform X-ray examinations using DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment. Operate independently with minimal supervision while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain equipment functionality and report any malfunctions to appropriate personnel. Document and manage patient information in electronic medical records (EMR). Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required. Active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Epic EMR is preferred. Must be assigned a dosimetry badge. Traveler must arrive on the island prior to the Monday start for HR clearance appointments. Additional Requirements Holiday coverage is required.
