Job Summary
X-ray Technologist operates radiology equipment to produce diagnostic radiographic images. Responsible for positioning patients, adjusting equipment controls, and following safety protocols to ensure high-quality images while maintaining patient care and safety standards. This position involves working across various departments, including emergency, surgical, outpatient imaging, and other clinical units, requiring strong technical skills and adherence to radiologic protocols.
Schedule
Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology (ARRT-R)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience
- Working knowledge of digital radiography (DR) and/or computerized radiography (CR) equipment, techniques, and protocols
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Capability to wear lead aprons for extended periods
