About the role
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging is needed in a healthcare organization located in Bountiful, Utah. The position involves working in the radiology unit with a focus on routine diagnostic X-rays and support for surgical and procedural cases. The role emphasizes patient care, technical proficiency, and safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Schedule
- Days shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- May include periodic weekend shifts and up to one weekend call shift per month
- On-call coverage hours: generally 3 PM to 11 PM
Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic X-rays such as chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, and extremities
- Conduct portable bedside X-rays for ED, inpatient, ICU, and PACU
- Support intraoperative procedures with C-arm/fluoroscopy during orthopedic, spine, pain management, urology, or line/device placement procedures
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) license
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with interventional radiology procedures
- Experience with angiography/fluoroscopy equipment
- Sterile procedural support
- Radiation safety experience
- Surgical suite support for surgeons' imaging needs
