About the role

Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging is needed in a healthcare organization located in Bountiful, Utah. The position involves working in the radiology unit with a focus on routine diagnostic X-rays and support for surgical and procedural cases. The role emphasizes patient care, technical proficiency, and safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Schedule

  • Days shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Minimum 40 hours per week
  • May include periodic weekend shifts and up to one weekend call shift per month
  • On-call coverage hours: generally 3 PM to 11 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine diagnostic X-rays such as chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, and extremities
  • Conduct portable bedside X-rays for ED, inpatient, ICU, and PACU
  • Support intraoperative procedures with C-arm/fluoroscopy during orthopedic, spine, pain management, urology, or line/device placement procedures

Requirements

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) license
  • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with interventional radiology procedures
  • Experience with angiography/fluoroscopy equipment
  • Sterile procedural support
  • Radiation safety experience
  • Surgical suite support for surgeons' imaging needs
