Travel X-Ray Technologist - $2,015 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract in Ithaca, New York. The position starts on September 27, 2026, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on 16-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Obtain useful diagnostic details to assist physicians in determining further patient treatment.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
• Produce x-ray films of body parts to diagnose medical issues such as cancer or fractures.
• Instruct patients on appropriate positions to ensure accurate imaging.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment focused on patient care, providing timely, compassionate, and quality service.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Two years of X-Ray Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
