Travel X-Ray Technologist - $1,948 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of a physician
• Operate and maintain equipment used in radiographic procedures
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (Epic)
• Float between various departments including Emergency Department, Operating Room, and portable imaging
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARRT (R) certification
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• Full Social Security Number (SSN) and Date of Birth (DOB) required for consideration
• Licenses required if applicable

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

3x12-hour day shifts, Sunday through Tuesday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
