About the role

Travel Radiology Technologist position in a healthcare facility. This role involves producing high-quality diagnostic images using a variety of equipment and technologies while adhering to safety guidelines and fostering effective communication within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts and locations is required.

Responsibilities

  • Produces high-quality images that meet the standards established by the Radiology Department.
  • Operates a variety of radiology equipment and technology competently.
  • Practices safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients.
  • Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
  • Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths.
  • Works independently and demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Responds to on-call pager notifications in an organized, efficient, and multi-functional manner.

Requirements

  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited radiography program.
  • Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • General radiology, diagnostic (X-ray), and surgical experience required.
  • Ability to work any and all shifts, 7 days a week, including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule

  • Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
