Travel Radiology Technologist position in Cumming, Georgia for a 13-week assignment.
About the role
The Diagnostic Radiology professional specializing as an X-ray Technologist will perform inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopic and radiographic exams, including C-arm imaging, lumbar punctures, and routine X-rays. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopic and radiographic exams
- Conduct C-arm imaging, lumbar punctures, and routine X-rays
- Work in a high-volume emergency department averaging 150 exams daily
- Operate fluoroscopy and perform operating room procedures
- Work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
Requirements
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-RT)
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiology
- Proficiency in Cerner electronic health record
- Experience with operating fluoroscopy and operating room procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopy exams
- Proficiency in C-arm procedures and lumbar punctures
