About the role
A Radiologic Technologist position in X-ray Technology is available in a healthcare organization. This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services to inpatient and outpatient populations, with responsibilities that include basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services, and routine procedures. The position requires adherence to departmental protocols and collaboration with radiologists.
The role involves possible floating to outpatient imaging centers, working with an average department census of 325 patients daily, and performing approximately 100-120 X-ray procedures per day. Float rotation may be required. The EMR system used is Cerner.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic radiographic procedures
- Conduct fluoroscopy procedures
- Perform portable radiographic procedures
- Operate C-arm for imaging
- Provide OR imaging services
- Perform routine radiographic procedures
- Adhere to departmental protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists
Requirements
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Valid state general radiographer license (pending licenses accepted)
- Graduation from an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) school
- 1+ year of surgery experience preferred
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting 09/21/2026
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shifts
- 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday
