About the role
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 6-week travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Works across ED, inpatient, and OR settings, including portable X-ray
- Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging is expected
- EMR systems include Epic and Sectra
- Equipment includes GE, Philips, and CareStream
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- 5 shifts per week
- Primarily assigned to one department per day with floating expected as needed
- Block scheduling is generally not approved
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience, or 2–3 years at a large-bed Level 2 trauma facility
- Experience in high-volume, high-acuity trauma environments with diverse and complex cases
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiologic technology program
- Proficiency with radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment
- Experience with GE, Philips, and CareStream imaging equipment preferred
- Epic and/or Sectra EMR experience preferred
- Active state license required if applicable

Benefits
This is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center with a high volume of complex and critical cases — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals are not a strong fit for this role.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
