Travel X Ray Technician - $1,841 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 6-week travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Works across ED, inpatient, and OR settings, including portable X-ray
• Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging is expected
• EMR systems include Epic and Sectra
• Equipment includes GE, Philips, and CareStream
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 5 shifts per week
• Primarily assigned to one department per day with floating expected as needed
• Block scheduling is generally not approved

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience, or 2–3 years at a large-bed Level 2 trauma facility
• Experience in high-volume, high-acuity trauma environments with diverse and complex cases
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiologic technology program
• Proficiency with radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment
• Experience with GE, Philips, and CareStream imaging equipment preferred
• Epic and/or Sectra EMR experience preferred
• Active state license required if applicable

• Evaluates images for technical quality

Benefits

This is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center with a high volume of complex and critical cases — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals are not a strong fit for this role.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
