Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: Shift: 12H NightsTotal Weekly Hours: 36Certifications: AHA BLS, ARRT, KSBHA LRTTrauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes:**Certifications and Licensure Required:** - AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support) - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) - KSBHA LRT (Kansas State Board of Healing Arts Licensed Radiologic Technologist) **Important Information:** - All required licensure and certifications must be submitted at the time of application. Pending certifications or licenses are not permitted. - No incidents or disciplinary actions on licensure are allowed, with no exceptions. **Skills and Responsibilities:** - Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures. - Operate and adjust imaging equipment to set exposure factors and produce accurate images. - Adjust immobilization devices for optimal views as requested by physicians. - Perform technical procedures independently, applying ionizing radiation for diagnoses. - Operate mobile radiologic equipment when applicable. - Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment. - Practice radiation protection techniques for patient and staff safety. - Process and review images for identification and quality control. - Complete necessary forms, logs, and reports regarding work performed. - Perform office work including phone answering, data retrieval, and inventory ordering. - Provide excellent customer service and explain procedures to patients. - Assist in reading preparation and training of students or new staff. - Maintain knowledge and technical skills through meetings and educational activities. **Clinical Experience:** - Respond knowledgeably to the needs of school-aged through gerontological patients. - Assist with point of care testing, rooming patients, and cleaning exam rooms.
