Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a night shift position at a Level II Trauma Center requiring OR experience with C-Arm and trauma hospital background.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds, operating as a Level II Trauma Center that also accepts Class I traumas
• X-Ray department with float coverage to a sister campus as needed
• 5x8 night shifts from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday
• Every other weekend work required
• Charting via Epic
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• OR experience required; C-Arm and O-Arm experience preferred
• Prior experience in a trauma hospital required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions considered
• License required if applicable
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility
• First-time travelers are not specifically excluded, but trauma hospital experience is a firm requirement
