Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts, days (Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm)
- Block schedules required
- No on-call
- No weekends
- No floating between units
- Expected patient ratio: 1:1
Responsibilities
- Operating Room experience required
- Perform a variety of radiologic procedures, including but not limited to:
- Abdomen decubitus, Abdomen supine (KUB), Abdomen upright
- AC joints, Ankle, Arthrography
- Barium enema (air contrast and single contrast), Barium Swallow/Esophagus
- Bedside/Portable Procedures, C-Arm procedures
- Calcaneus, Cervical Spine, Chest AP, Chest Lateral Decubitus, Chest routine
- Clavicle, Contrast Enema, Elbow, Emergency Department procedures
- ERCP, Facial bones, Femur, Foot, Forearm
- GE, Hand, Hip, Humerus
- ICU procedures, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE
- Knee, Lumbar Spine
- Management/lead experience, Myelography
- NICU procedures, O-ARM
- Operating Room procedures, Orbits
- PACS, Paranasal sinuses, Patella, Pediatric Acute Care, Pediatric Outpatient
- Pelvis, Philips, Portable abdomen, Portable chest
- Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Radiation Safety, Sacrum and/or Coccyx, Scapula, Shoulder, Siemens, Skull
- Starting Peripheral IVs, Temporomandibular joints, Thoracic Spine
- Thumb or finger, Tibia-fibula, Toes, Trauma Cases
- Trauma lower extremity, Trauma shoulder or Humerus (Scapular Y, Transthoracic Axial)
- Trauma upper extremity (non-shoulder), Upper Airway (soft tissue neck), Upper GI series
- Wrist
- Charting in Epic system
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification
- Washington state license or eligible for licensure
- 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician
- Large hospital experience required
- Trauma Level I and II experience required
- Operating Room experience required
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Preferred qualifications:
- Previous Charge Experience
- Community Hospital Experience
- LTAC Experience
- Travel Experience
- Must include the following with submission:
- Response to: Have you ever worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem? If yes, include location and dates worked.
- Detailed interview availability, including time zones and multiple time options
- References: 2 professional references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, required during compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead.
- Compliance document deadline: Monday prior to start
- Last four digits of SSN required at time of submittal
- All RTO/scheduling requests must be submitted up-front; post-submittal requests may not be considered
- Max of one job per submittal
- 50-mile local radius; locals accepted at a lower rate
- Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler
- Modules: Non-billable, average 16 hours spent pre-start and annually; completion recorded in Workramp transcripts
