Travel X-Ray Tech - $2,487 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The position starts on October 5, 2026, and lasts for 13 weeks. It is a 40-hour-per-week shift working evenings.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
• Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position.
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to both yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for the physician to review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Must have ARRT (R) National Certification.
• Must have state-specific licensing when required.
• Should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Should have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
