About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking experienced and certified Radiologic Technologists (X-Ray Techs) for travel and local assignments at leading hospitals and imaging centers across the U.S. As a Travel X-Ray Tech, you’ll capture diagnostic images using radiographic equipment, ensure patient comfort and safety, and support providers with accurate imaging needed for treatment and care planning.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray exams on patients in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings
- Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure optimal image quality
- Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain sterile technique
- Communicate clearly with patients and collaborate with radiologists and care teams
- Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment as needed
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
- Active state license or eligibility to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent X-ray experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Proficiency in portable X-rays, C-arm, and trauma imaging preferred
- Strong attention to detail, positioning, and image quality standards
