About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a position in Portland, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of a licensed radiologic technologist.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
- Accurately document patient information and procedures in the electronic health record system (Epic).
- Adhere to radiation protection protocols.
- Comply with all regulatory standards and guidelines.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R).
- BLS certification.
- Fluoroscopy permit (if required).
- Experience with X-ray equipment.
- Knowledge of and ability to use Epic charting system.
- Ability to work weekends (Sat & Sun: 8:30a - 5p).
- Flexibility to work 3 on-call shifts per month.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current CPR certification.
