About the role
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Eureka, CA, requiring ARRT(R) certification and Epic experience.
The assignment is at a 150-bed acute care hospital setting with an X-Ray department, and requires floating between all facilities within the state.
Shifts are 5x8 hour day shifts, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM, with on-call required and charting via Epic.
Responsibilities
The Radiology Technologist will work in the X-Ray department, with responsibilities including but not limited to providing patient care and operating radiology equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Active ARRT(R) certification required
- Active CA Radiology license required; license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Active Fluoroscopy Permit required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Qualifications
Pending CA license is not accepted.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
