Travel X-ray Tech - $2,289 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a position in Wausau, Wisconsin. The position starts on September 14, 2026, lasts for 13 weeks, and works 36 hours per week, including 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients as needed
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physicians to review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) national certification
• State-specific licensing if required
• A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• 2 years of experience

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
