About the role
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week evening shift travel assignment in Richland, Washington. This role requires 1 year of large hospital and OR experience.
- 13-week travel assignment
- Evening shift, 5×8 hours (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)
- 40 hours per week
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- No floating between units required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Trauma Level I and Level II hospital setting
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
- Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Two supervisory references required covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
Responsibilities
- Perform abdomen/GI imaging, upper and lower extremity imaging, trauma imaging, fluoroscopy studies, mobile/surgical procedures, spine and pelvis imaging, chest and thorax imaging, and head imaging
- Prepare and administer contrast media
- Adhere to radiation safety practices
- Follow infection prevention and isolation precaution protocols
- Operate GE, Philips, Siemens, and PACS equipment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required; large hospital experience preferred
- OR experience required
- Current ARRT(R) and BLS certification
- Valid WA state radiology license or license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred
