About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week evening shift travel assignment in Richland, Washington. This role requires 1 year of large hospital and OR experience.

• 13-week travel assignment
• Evening shift, 5×8 hours (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)
• 40 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• No weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• No floating between units required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Trauma Level I and Level II hospital setting
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Two supervisory references required covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Perform abdomen/GI imaging, upper and lower extremity imaging, trauma imaging, fluoroscopy studies, mobile/surgical procedures, spine and pelvis imaging, chest and thorax imaging, and head imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Adhere to radiation safety practices
• Follow infection prevention and isolation precaution protocols
• Operate GE, Philips, Siemens, and PACS equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required; large hospital experience preferred
• OR experience required
• Current ARRT(R) and BLS certification
• Valid WA state radiology license or license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred
