American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, starting on August 15, 2026. The role is for 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule of 10-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
The Radiology Technologist will work in an acute care hospital setting, supporting Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray services, including OR cases, ER, portables, and outpatient imaging. The schedule alternates between 4x10 hour evening shifts and 5x8 hour day shifts, with rotating weekends every 3rd weekend and an on-call requirement of 5-8 shifts per month.
The role involves performing imaging across various body parts, supporting trauma cases, fluoroscopy studies, and portable/mobile imaging procedures, and working across adult acute care and outpatient settings, ICU, ED, and operating room environments.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist required
- Current BLS and ARRT(R) certification required
- Wisconsin state license required if applicable, pending license accepted at submission but must be obtained during compliance
- Prior travel experience required, or first-time travelers considered if candidate has multiple facility employment history at Level I or II trauma centers
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
- Experience with fluoroscopy studies, mobile/surgical procedures, and contrast media preparation/administration preferred
- Experience starting peripheral IVs preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing unit needs
Skills
- Uses GE and Philips imaging equipment, O-ARM, and PACS system
- Epic charting system experience preferred

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
