About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Falls Church, Virginia. The position requires 36 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and evening work. The ideal candidate must have 1 year of experience and hold BLS, ARRT (R), and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support
• Follow physician orders regarding imaging areas
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) national certification
• State-specific licensing (if required)
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
