Travel X-Ray Tech - $2,198 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Technologist with trauma, NICU, Peds, and portable imaging experience for a 13-week evening shift assignment in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

This is a hospital-based X-Ray Tech position within the Radiology/Cardiology department. The role is a travel assignment with the following details:

• Evening shift, 4x10 hours (2:00 PM to 12:30 AM)
• 40 hours per week
• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule includes every other Saturday and Sunday

Call requirements include 3 shifts per month (2 weekday shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM and 1 weekend shift, either 7 AM-7 PM or 7 PM-7 AM). Must be able to work holidays and take call if staying in the area.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including portable X-rays across trauma, NICU, and pediatric patient populations

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with trauma, NICU, Peds, and portable imaging
• Ohio license required if applicable
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually for non-nursing/CST caregivers
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Candidates must pick up badge and complete onsite fingerprinting at the facility prior to start date
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate

Additional Information

• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
