Community hospital setting with a variety of work environments including Adult Acute Care, Adult and Pediatric Outpatient, ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR
Performs a wide range of X-Ray studies including upper and lower extremity, spine and pelvis, chest and thorax, abdomen/GI, head, and trauma imaging
Fluoroscopy studies include arthrography, barium swallow/esophagus, myelography, upper GI series, and enema studies
Moves and surgical imaging including C-arm procedures and portable chest/abdomen
Uses GE X-Ray equipment and PACS
Meditech Expanse EMR — experience strongly preferred

3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Floating within clinical scope may be required based on facility needs
Local candidates accepted at the local rate within an 80-mile radius

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience preferred; 1 year minimum required
• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• Valid state or compact radiography license required in-hand prior to start — license required if applicable
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Pending state licenses are not accepted
• Proficiency with GE equipment and PACS Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Experience across multiple imaging modalities and work settings including acute care, ED, OR, ICU, and pediatric environments

About the Role

Perform diagnostic X-Ray imaging across a broad range of anatomical regions and patient populations, including adult and pediatric acute and outpatient cases
Responsibilities include preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety practices, infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and starting peripheral IVs

Qualifications

• First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience level
• RTO requests of more than one week are not accepted
• Travel experience is not required

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
