Travel X-Ray Tech - $1,930 per week

About the role

13-week travel contract assignment in the X-Ray Tech department at a facility in Akron, Ohio. Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:30 to 07:00) with a set alternating weekly schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday one week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday the next. 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel
• BLS certification required
• Active Ohio license required at time of submission (if applicable, compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 and forward)
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for consideration
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this role
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation with a maximum of two attempts to pass
• Background check hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility; candidates with an open case will not be accepted
• License hits are not accepted by the facility
• Nicotine-free requirement applies (except for Nurses and CSTs), requiring a negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test within 12 months of start, updated annually
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Must pick up badge and complete onsite fingerprinting at the facility prior to start date

• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• PBDS assessment is waived
• Facility maintains a strict do-not-call policy
• PAPRs will not be considered an alternative for caregivers with facial hair, except for those with an approved agency medical or religious exemption
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
