Travel X-Ray Tech - $1,840 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Seymour, Indiana. The position requires 1 year of experience, ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physicians
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• State-specific licensing (when required)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty

Skills

• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently and follow physician orders
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
