American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week acute care assignment in Clarion, Pennsylvania, requiring ARRT and BLS certification with at least 1 year of experience. The assignment starts October 26, 2026, with 40 hours per week on day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency, routine outpatient, inpatient, and OR studies in an acute care General X-Ray department
• Operate multiple radiology rooms, C-arms, and portable imaging units
• Handle an average of 100–150 studies per day across the department
• Use Meditech Expanse EMR and Philips PACS
• Work with Dell, Canon, Shimadzu, Siemens, GE, and OEC imaging systems
• No floating to other departments required
• No call or standby requirements
• No IV starts required

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• State license required if applicable

Qualifications

• Daytime Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech available on-site
• In-house radiologist available
• Typical unit-specific orientation is one week
• Scrubs provided in any color except purple
• Interview conducted directly with the unit manager
• Local candidates not accepted; radius requirements apply (100 miles for Princeton Community Hospital, 50 miles for other WVU facilities)
• Travelers must wait 2 years between assignments at any WVU Medicine location
• Maximum cumulative assignment length at WVU facilities is 1 year before a 2-year break is required
• Some WVU facilities do not permit former permanent staff to return as travelers

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 5×8-hour shifts (40 hrs/wk)
• Every 4th week: two weekday 8-hour shifts and two weekend 12-hour shifts
• No overnight shifts
• Weekend rotation varies by location (every other weekend or every 4th weekend)
• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
