Travel X-Ray/CT Radiology Technician - $2,668 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a contract with one of their top healthcare clients. The position is located in Lewiston, Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Obtain useful diagnostic details that help doctors to decide on further treatment for patients.
• Prep patient for diagnostic imaging exams.
• Produce x-ray films of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems such as cancer or fractures.
• Instruct the patients to undergo the appropriate positions to get accurate images.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved school of radiologic technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
