About the role
We are seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) - Echo to perform diagnostic cardiac imaging in diverse clinical settings. The role involves conducting echocardiography using advanced techniques, ensuring high-quality images, and maintaining patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic echocardiography with proficiency
- Review patient history and educate patients about procedures
- Troubleshoot imaging artifacts and ensure accurate imaging
- Document results accurately and maintain thorough records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses
- Adhere to protocols and maintain patient safety
- Demonstrate critical thinking and technical skills in fast-paced environments
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- At least one year of recent experience as an Echo Cardiovascular Technologist
- Current BLS certification
- Valid licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist
Qualifications
Preferred certifications include RDMS, ARRT, or CCI credentials.
