About the role
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Douglas, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Work in an imaging department at an acute care medical center
- Perform general, limited OB/early gestation, vascular, and breast ultrasound examinations
- Work independently on weekends without additional sonography staff on-site
- Work a weekend-heavy schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday — 4x10-hour day shifts
Requirements
- ARDMS certification required
- Experience in general, vascular, OB, and breast ultrasound
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must test negative on a cotinine (nicotine) test — this is a non-smoking facility
- Licenses required if applicable
Qualifications
- Comfortable working solo in the imaging department on weekends
- Cotinine testing is required prior to starting — negative result required for eligibility

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
