About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a short-term acute care hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Perform general ultrasound procedures in a short-term acute care hospital setting
- Work in a 7-on/7-off rotating schedule: one week of Friday–Saturday–Sunday (approx. 30.5 hours) followed by one week of Monday–Thursday (approx. 32 hours)
- Work night shifts: 3x10-hour shifts (9:00 PM–6:30 AM) and 4x8-hour shifts (10:00 PM–6:00 AM)
- No on-call required
- Use Paragon charting system
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
- ARDMS or ARRT certification required; initial ARRT registration is acceptable with ARDMS registration expected within 6 months of employment
- License required if applicable — pending licenses are not accepted
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Two professional references required for consideration
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- RTO requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
