About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a position in Rochester, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using high-frequency sound waves to produce images of internal organs and structures.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Document findings accurately and prepare reports for referring physicians.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments.
Requirements
- Current state-issued certification as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams.
Skills
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
