The Ultrasonographer Echo (Specialty) position is based in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role involves performing pediatric echocardiography studies with a focus on fetal and pediatric cardiac imaging. The position requires a patient-focused professional capable of managing a high volume of scans in a hospital setting, supporting the clinical team with accurate and timely imaging.

Required Qualifications
Valid ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) verification
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, from an accredited program
Licence to submit in the state of West Virginia
Preferred Qualifications
Fetal echo experience is highly preferred
Specific Responsibilities
Performing fetal and pediatric echocardiograms
Working with inpatient imaging
Operating GE, Philips, and Siemens ultrasound equipment, specifically Philips EPIQ7
Department Equipment and Systems
Use of EPIC electronic medical record system and PACS for image storage and communication
Additional Information
Involvement in acute clinical settings
Collaborative effort with the pediatric echo lead tech
Adherence to departmental protocols
No IV starts required
Orientation will be conducted via phone, email, or onsite as needed
Scrubs are not provided but may be worn from existing wardrobe
Travel and Submission Notes
Only one submission per candidate at a time within the WVU system
Candidates with prior employment or travel history must meet specified time gaps

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
