Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $2,810 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Wenatchee, Washington. The position is full‑time travel, 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. The technologist will operate ultrasound equipment to produce accurate images for physician interpretation, prepare and care for patients undergoing ultrasound exams, and maintain equipment and records. One year of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound‑guided biopsies
• Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARDMS National Certification (RDMS AB and RDMS OB/GYN)
• State‑specific licensing where required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
