About the role
GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Potsdam, New York.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and record keeping.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.
- Document findings and procedures accurately in the medical record.
Requirements
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with AB/OB/VASCA certifications preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of an accredited sonography program.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a clinical setting.
