Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $2,575 per week
Job Summary
This position involves providing specialized support for adult echocardiography procedures within a Level II Trauma Center that is a certified stroke center. The role requires front-line clinical skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, including rotating shifts, with weekend and call responsibilities.
Job Details
- Location: 489 State Street, Bangor, ME 04401
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registered in the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- A minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS)
Support on the Unit
- Echo supervisor and 6-9 additional sonographers within the department
- Physician support from 7 cardiologists
Technology/Equipment
- Electronic Medical Records system (Cerner)
- Phillips imaging equipment
- Floating within the healthcare organization as needed
