About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Ensure accurate and detailed images are obtained for proper interpretation by the physician.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments.
- Document patient information accurately and prepare reports for physicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Current state-issued license as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
- Pass a criminal background check.
