The ideal candidate will be experienced in general studies, vascular, and obstetric ultrasound procedures, as well as proficient in working independently. Position Information Role: Ultrasound Technologist Shift: Variable Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 Call Requirements: One weekday per week and every fourth weekend Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT – Sonography/RDMS (RDMS – Peds preferred) Float Requirements: Must be willing to float to multiple locations Unit Information Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics, and Emergency Room patients Equipment: GE Brand Ultrasound, Portable units, PACS, SonoSite EHR: EPIC Patient Ratios: Approximately 35 daily census with 1 patient per hour Responsibilities Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations and provide preliminary notes on each case. Work independently while being supported by a collaborative team of Sonographers and Radiologists. Prepare patients and explain procedures effectively to ensure a comfortable environment. Assist in the management of patient care and maintain accurate patient records. Qualifications Must Have Skills: Experience in outpatient settings, working with neonates, and performing biopsies. Preferred Skills: Pediatric experience and familiarity with GE Pediatric equipment. Community Hospital Experience: Required.
