Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 9-week assignment starting August 31, 2026, in New York City. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and includes benefits such as holiday pay, a 401k retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
• Document findings accurately and prepare reports for physicians.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and composure.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
