About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a position in Richmond, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to established protocols.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
  • Document findings accurately and timely in the medical record.
  • Adhere to infection control practices and maintain sterile field.

Requirements

  • Current state-issued license as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
  • Knowledge of relevant anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited sonography program.
  • Passing score on the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registry exam.

Skills

  • Proficiency with ultrasound equipment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
