Job Description & Requirements

Supplemental Health Care is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract in Bangor, Maine. The position requires active ARDMS certification, an associate or bachelor's degree with science and anatomy coursework, and two years of recent relevant experience.

  • Operate imaging equipment and review images for quality and diagnostic value.
  • Communicate imaging results to physicians and alert them to urgent issues.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide education during the ultrasound exam.
  • Review patient medical history and coordinate care with various departments.

Qualifications

Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy, American Heart Association BLS certification, and two years of recent relevant experience as a General Diagnostic Sonographer.

Contract Details

$2,070 - $2,254 per week, 13-week contract with potential extension. AM shifts available in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
