Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Fargo, North Dakota starting July 20, 2026. The position involves performing invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
  • Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS) preferred
  • Current ARRT Certification in Sonography preferred

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program

  • Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS) preferred
  • Current ARRT Certification in Sonography preferred

Essential Work Functions

  • Absorb and implement patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs
  • Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
  • Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy
  • Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
  • Observe and record patient status and progress
  • Provide patient education on how to properly take medication and use equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice

  • The ability to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
  • The ability to possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
