Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $2,071 per week

About the Role

Talent4Health is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Midland, Texas, starting on 11/16/2026. The role involves performing a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations across inpatient and emergency settings, including OB/GYN, general abdominal, renal, pelvic, pediatric, neonatal, vascular, and small-parts studies. The technologist will also assist with ultrasound-guided procedures and perform portable examinations in various inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform OB/GYN studies, including first-, second-, and third-trimester exams, fetal anatomical surveys, multiple pregnancies, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler studies.
  • Conduct general abdominal exams, including aorta, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, and appendix.
  • Perform renal and pelvic studies, including bladder, kidneys, uterus, ovaries, prostate, and vaginal ultrasound.
  • Conduct pediatric abdomen/pelvis and neonatal head, heart, and spine ultrasound studies.
  • Perform vascular and transplant studies, including renal and liver transplant imaging.
  • Conduct small-parts imaging, including thyroid, superficial masses, and testicular/scrotal studies.
  • Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis.
  • Perform portable ultrasound examinations for patients in ICU, NICU, pediatrics, and other inpatient settings.
  • Utilize PACS and Samsung ultrasound equipment while maintaining appropriate isolation precautions and PPE.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound experience.
  • ARDMS certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ARDMS AB, OB/GYN, and Pediatric Sonography (PS) preferred.
  • Cerner experience preferred.
  • Experience with adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric patients.
  • Experience in Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, OB, and high-risk OB settings.
  • Call may be required depending on shift and department needs.
  • RTO must be submitted with profile.
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), Friday–Sunday, totaling 36 hours per week.
