Vibra Travels is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Charleston, South Carolina, starting 11/09/2026. The position is 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (19:00–07:00).

Responsibilities

• Patient Preparation and Positioning: Accurately position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to radiation protection protocols.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high‑quality images.
• Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.

Requirements

• Current ARDMS certification required.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as an Ultrasound Technician in the state of employment (South Carolina).
• Completion of a specialized certificate program (obstetrics and gynecology, cardiac, vascular, or musculoskeletal) as required.
• Two (2) years of recent experience in the area of specialty.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels‑approved vendor required; AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Compliance with federal and state vaccination, vaccination offering, and disease screening requirements (varies by state/location).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. A competitive hourly rate is offered in addition to the stipend.
