Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $1,916 per week
Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled High Risk OB Ultrasound Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The position involves performing invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
Qualifications
- Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS) preferred
- Current ARRT Certification in Sonography preferred
Essential Work Functions
- Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs
- Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
- Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy
- Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
- Observe and record patient status and progress
- Provide detailed findings to consulting providers
- Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice
