Travel Ultrasound Technician

Role: Travel Ultrasound Technician responsible for delivering diagnostic imaging and cardiovascular testing services across multiple healthcare facilities. Responsibilities: Perform ultrasound procedures (abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular), conduct 2D Echocardiograms, vascular Doppler studies, and EKGs. Operate diagnostic equipment, prepare residents, explain procedures, review images, and provide preliminary findings to physicians. Maintain accurate records, ensure safety and infection control, and manage equipment maintenance. Communicate professionally with residents, staff, and physicians. Travel extensively to various locations, utilizing personal transportation as needed, and coordinate scheduling efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills: Certification from ARDMS, CCI, or RVT required. Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technician, with hands-on skills in EKGs, Echocardiograms, and vascular studies. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and flexibility for extensive travel. Physical ability to stand, lift up to 20 pounds, assist with patient positioning, and operate equipment.
