Travel Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - $2,034 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Summerville, South Carolina. The position is full‑time travel, 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment to produce accurate images for physician interpretation, preparing and caring for patients undergoing ultrasound testing, and assisting with ultrasound‑guided procedures. Immediate start available; one year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound‑guided biopsies
• Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARDMS National Certification (RDMS OB/GYN)
• State‑specific licensing where required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay & Schedule

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Schedule: 8‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
