About the role

Ultrasonographer Echo in the specialty of Ultrasonography located at the healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized ultrasound imaging services, focusing on echocardiography procedures. The assignment is for 16–26 weeks, requiring dedicated clinical expertise and adherence to established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography procedures and specialized ultrasound imaging services
• Adhere to established clinical protocols and quality standards
• Document findings accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC)

Requirements

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential
• Associate degree in radiologic technology
• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience as an Echo Technologist
• EPIC (electronic medical record) experience from within the past 2 years — required and non‑negotiable
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Complete employment history including bed count, electronic medical record systems used, and facility type required for submission

Schedule

• Days shift, 8‑hour shifts
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• No floating, weekends, or call requirements
• Travelers must work 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day/Eve

Pay

Rates are tiered based on mileage measured by direct line (not driving distance): Travel (101+ miles), Radius (51–100 miles), Local (50 miles or less). Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
