About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Accurately document findings and procedures in medical records.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current state licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment.
- Passing score on a national registry exam (e.g., American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography).

Pay
